1. What got you started with this brand? What was your inspiration? What is the idea/concept behind it?
The frustration of being unable to find many activewear brands that carry different sizes. The brands that I do know are quite pricey and at times, the quality of their products does not match up to the price.
I wanted to be able to share with those around me activewear with quality, comfortability, and at the best price.
My biggest inspiration behind Motion Activewear is about breaking the norm. I want to be able to cater to different body types and have everyone feeling comfortable and confident in their own skin. I also want to build a community that supports and inspires each other to keep on moving and being active in life.
2. What is your personal favorite product from your brand?
My personal favorites would be the TARO set and the OAK set.
3. What do you want people to experience with your brand/product(s)?
I want people to feel confident and comfortable in their own body.
4. What tips and advice can you give to entrepreneurs who are just starting out or are planning to start their own brand?
As long as you believe in what you want or in what you’re about to do and love the whole thing, go for it! Starting out a business is quite tough, and you will always face uncertainty in many things, so just remember to take it one day at time and always be consistent in everything you do.
