1. What got you started with this brand? What was your inspiration? What is the idea/concept behind it?

Lily Tropics is a brand inspired by “The Good Life in the Islands.” “Islands” referring to the Philippines, a tropical country rich with beautiful beaches in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Imagine that!

As a beach lover, I started this brand to simply share bits and pieces that make my clientele feel like they are at the beach or going on a holiday somewhere in the islands (even when they are just chillin’ in the city). You know what’s even better? Our pieces look good when paired with any outfit! May it be your chic city look, your gorge bikini, and basically anything under the sun!

2. What is your personal favorite product from your brand?

The Gold Starfish Earrings is a personal favorite. I find this pair very stylish and bold–just the way I like my accessories.

3. What do you want people to experience with your brand/product(s)?

We want people to experience “The Good Life in the Islands” when they wear our carefully curated pieces. The beach has always been the perfect getaway. It recharges us and makes us feel good. That’s what we want our clients to feel: Happiness!

4. What tips and advice can you give to entrepreneurs who are just starting out or are planning to start their own brand?

Love what you do and everything else will fall into place. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it for sure! Add passion and dedication to the equation as well. Both will come in handy! Above all, know who your market is.

5. What’s next for your brand?

Lily Tropics launched its first collection on September 2020. We will be taking it one step at a time and see where it leads us. For now, stay tuned for more exciting pieces to come!
